The ''Email templates'' section in the menu gives you the option to add new email templates and edit existing ones. Almost everywhere you can send an email to your candidate, you first have the option to choose a template. You can fully customise these templates to your own wishes.
Managing email templates
In the email templates screen, you can add a template. By selecting one of the templates, you will see the option to edit the template, copy it, publish or withdraw it, delete the template, set the template as the default template, or set the template as the default reminder. You can also click the desired template to view a preview of it.
Tip: make sure the templates you want to use are published. Otherwise they will not appear in the overview of your templates, and you will not be able to use the template for your candidates.
Editing email templates
When you create or edit a template, you have several options, such as creating your own subject line and inserting your own text.
Please note: make use of the codes shown on the right-hand side in your email text. For example, the code for automatically inserting the candidate’s name, or the code that refers to the platform’s login page.
Tip: Would you like to use the passwordless login option? Then you can include this link in your email template with the code: %{passwordless_login_link}. This link will then be generated directly in the email.
