Career Profile combines the following validated and reliable tests:
- Work-related Personality
- Career Drives
- Work-related Interests
- Self-assessment of competencies (this questionnaire is only available as part of this programme)
Career Profile is adaptive, a new generation of questionnaires based on Item Response Theory (IRT). The major advantage is that adaptive questionnaires can be administered three times faster with the same reliability and validity as the traditional questionnaire. In just 30 minutes, Career Profile provides a broad picture of a person’s personality, drives and interests, compared with 90 minutes for traditional career scans.
Application
Internal and external career advisors, HR advisors and reintegration specialists use Career Profile to advise more effectively on the basis of insight and to take concrete follow-up steps. Career Profile creates awareness of one’s own qualities and opportunities. This can then lead to career moves or to development within the current role. Career Profile is therefore a widely used tool for development, career advice, mobility, reintegration and outplacement.
Reporting
An extensive competency analysis has been added to the report. In this analysis, the candidate’s competency scores based on the personality profile (talent) and the self-assessment are first compared with each other. This makes clear what the core competencies are and where the candidate’s potential lies. Next, the candidate’s talent for these competencies is compared with how motivating the candidate finds the competencies. This shows which competencies give the candidate energy and which competencies present a challenge. To provide tips for developing the candidate’s competencies, a link to a page with development tips is given for each competency at the end of the report.

The standard report does not include reflection questions. Reflection questions can be added when you choose the extended report. Reflection questions with Career Profile are a strong addition alongside the test results in the report. The advisor can give the report to the candidate, and the candidate can review the results using the reflection questions. That forms the basis for the follow-up conversation.
