Integrity Decision-Making

Integrity Decision-Making provides insight into the candidate’s moral values, thereby giving insight into integrity. In addition to Integrity Decision-Making, Ixly also offers another complementary integrity test, namely Moral Values. These integrity tests can be used separately or in combination, depending on the context.

Application
Integrity is an important theme in a job application or assessment. The damage caused by non-integer behaviour can mount up considerably. Organisations can limit this risk by using integrity tests. HR advisors can use these tests to assess candidates on integrity and to make this theme discussable at an individual level.

Development
This integrity test provides insight into the considerations someone makes when faced with moral dilemmas. Candidates are presented with various dilemmas and, for each dilemma, approximately five follow-up questions. These load on four scales.

These scales provide insight into the way people handle dilemmas and how they are likely to act in ambiguous situations.

Advice on using the integrity tests
Good interview protocols and appropriate interview skills are important when exploring integrity issues in a job application or assessment. To avoid demotivating suitable candidates and to treat them respectfully, it is therefore advisable to use a sound interview protocol and to train selectors in it.
